What's included in a service at Outback Automotive?
A car service, commonly referred to as routine, minor or major service, involves a series of maintenance procedures carried out on your car, typically based on the manufacturer’s recommendations and service intervals.
Our technician is fully qualified to carry out log book services and stamp your book for warranty purposes.
Every vehicle is slightly different, but the general framework of a car service remains the same. It includes changing the oil and filter, checking the air filter and cabin filter, and checking over the car for oil leaks, lights working correctly, tyre pressures and condition, battery condition, brakes and hoses, liquid levels such as brake fluid, coolant and windscreen wash, and checking for any noises, rattles or cracks that shouldn’t be there.
If we find anything wrong, we’ll let you know. Most times we can keep the vehicle longer to carry out the further repairs, or if it isn’t something dangerous, we can negotiate a convenient to get it back in.

Yes! That’s the beauty of a small family-run business – you get to talk directly to the owner/mechanic all the way along. Andrew and his son Jason will help you from booking in to pick up.
Yes, we carry out a thorough condition check at every service. You’ll get a call to discuss any urgent repairs and will be provided notes on your invoice for anything that may need fixing/replacing at the next service. This saves you any bad surprises and helps you plan for larger repairs.
No, but we can make sure your vehicle is in good working order so it passes the inspection.
